Wow that looks good. Where else do people post modded outbacks? The new ones are my favorite.

Subaruoutback.org has some. It's a small forum though.

year:2003
model: WRX Wagon
wheel model: Subaru 2011 WRX stockies
wheel size/offset: 17x8 w/ 53mm offset
tire brand/model: somekind of winter tires
tire size: don't know yet
suspension: Feal 441 Coilovers
fender mods: Previous owner rolled all four corners flat and stripped the liners out aswell
spacers: Nope

Looking to put together a winter set. Have a set of the 2011 WRX stockies, with the stock 235/45R17 tires on them. The inside of the tires rubbed like crazy on the lowering coilovers that the car came on. The 441's are new. I've seen plenty of people posting about using 17x7.5 53et and people with 17x8 <53et with no problems. Can't find anything about 8 wide and an offset of 53 though. Looking for suggestions of some decent snow tires and sizes to fit onto these without rubbing on the coilovers again.
Have a set of OZ Ultraleggeras in 17x8 48et on 225/45ZR17 Michelin Pilot Sports that I use as a summer set with no rubbing. Thanks.

Just an FYI, 18x9.5 +48 will not clear the gtworx/bilstein strut on my 13 WRX. With a 3mm spacer, I can just barely get a piece of paper through the gap between the wheel and strut.

Hopefully this will help others before they waste thousands of dollars like I did.

model: 2013 WRX Sedan
wheel model:Wedssport SA-15R
wheel size/offset:18x9.5 +48
tire brand/model: Continental EXTREMECONTACT DW XL
tire size: 265/35/18
suspension: GtWORX/Bilstein with Regular Springs
alignment: NA
fender mods: Rolled Rears
spacers: 3mm in front

Alignment is kind of important. With it being so close, less camber would open up the gap.

Guess I was too angry at the time to realize this. I had just finished putting on the bilsteins before trying to fit the wheel so I'm sure it is all out of whack.

I'm getting an alignment tomorrow and will try again. Thanks for the tip!

What size looks good on a stock 07 WRX sedan? I'm eyeing some 17x8.25 ET-32 CCW Classics. Will this look decent or will it look like hot garbage?

Default 245/40R18 with 18x8 Wheels - Fitment?

Desired setup (I think):

year: 2013
model: WRX Wagon
wheel model: Sparco Assetto Gara
wheel size/offset: 18x8, 48mm offset
tire brand/model: Toyo Proxes 4+
tire size: 245/40R18
suspension: stock
fender mods: none
spacers: no

Hey guys, I combed through this thread for awhile (an hour or so) and couldn't find what I was looking for so I just thought I'd just post my question.

I basically want to replace the stock 17" wheels with 18" wheels (specs above) for the look, and I'd like to get the widest tire possible without having any rubbing issues. I don't have any fenders rolled and I'm gonna keep the car at its stock height, I won't lower it at all.

I was thinking of getting 245/40/18 tires with 18x8 wheels (specs above). I checked a few places and it looks like the 18x8 wheels max out at 245, but will it look funny? If I use a 245 tire with an 18x8 wheel, will the tire "puff" out around the wheel and look weird?

I'd like to keep the offset at +48 or greater, don't wanna go more than 5mm away from stock offset. From what I've seen, it's hard to find wheels that are wider than 8" with at least an offset of +48.

Being that they are Racelands, of course one of the front coils is seized so I couldn't get the front lower. Will be taking care of this once it's warmer out, along with giving the car a nice puil.

Which wheels should I get? I'm torn. Leaning towards RPF1's, though.

(Made this with the WheelCo app btw, I'm no photoshop wizard).

If you don't want to do anything to your fenders, 9.5in is too wide.

This isn't true.
He can run that without any fender work. Especially in that offset.

I guess so...if he ran extremely small tires, but with proper tire size(255 or 265) he would need at least a slight roll

Hey guys, need some advice. Looking to get some new wheels and tires, but I'm on a bit of a budget. I think I've narrowed it down to 2, lol, but still looking around. Specs below.

2015 WRX
Stock suspension (will either get springs or coilovers within the year)
Will be upgrading to 06 STI Brembo's up front and 04 STI Brembo's in the rear.

The wheels I'm looking at are either the avid.1 AV20 18x9.5 +38
Or
Tenzo R Type S 18x9.5 +35

I plan on running 255/35/18 wheels.

Looking on the web I see a lot of people running AV20s with Brembo's, but I don't see anyone running the Tenzo's. I'm leaning towards the AV20 as I like the look, but I'm not sure I wanna run a common wheel (although I haven't seen anyone around here with them).

Do you think I'll run into any clearance issues with the Tenzo's? They look as if they should clear the brakes. I'm also a bit concerned with how much poke I'll have. Is 3mm really noticeable?

Thanks for any advice you've got.

Does anyone have 2008 Spec B wheels on their ride?

Hoping to see how they look on other model Subaru's, specifically 2008-2011 Imprezas!

Question Wheels and BBK

Hey guys, I have a 2014 WRX with a StopTech BBK. The fronts are 355x32. I went to put on my winter wheels today and there was not enough clearance. So, as things go, I figured since I am not the biggest fan of my current wheels, I would go for something I wanted a bit more.
I am looking at the Ray's 57DR 18x9.5 38 offset. Can anyone with any experience help me figure out of these should have the clearance needed for the BBK? There are no stores local to me that have them where I can take in the measurement printout and check them and the places I have called asking this question to were completely useless.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Chris

Thanks, i think i go to 9", because i think i dont want small tires and dont want to pull or roll my fenders. Would 255/35/18 go with the 9" et40 with no roll or pull or should i go 245/40?
