IMO, not worth getting, as they have a change of throwing a CEL... Also, just doesn't make sense to get headers that won't give you gains, other than sound.

IMO, don't bother w/ springs unless u r upgrading the shocks/struts as well.

+1 on RSB & better tires.

So before I cave in n have to take my car to the stealership I figured I'd ask you guys first to see if anyone else had this problem. I'm at about 46k mi on the odo and have done all necessary maint'd up to date. When I'm driving in gear in 3-4th, I let off the accelerator and hear from the front of the car a sound that sounds similar to a loose belt (squeaking/squealing). I can't get it to do it 100% of the time and the noise isn't loud. If someone could point me in the direction of where i should check first? or things to check I'd greatly appreciate it. The stealership wants to charge me 125$ just to look at the damn car which is ****ing bs. I asked the san diego nasioc group on FB but 0 reply's.
Thanks in advance, steve

Anyone know how to get the trunk unlock/gas door plastic piece removed from the driver carpet area? I unlocked it with my key and the plastic plate is off but won't pop out over the levers.

Any help would be appreciated, last step in removed my carpet!

Edit- NVM, got it without taking that piece out. Carpet is officially out of the car, new carpet installed today and picking up seats on Friday. Complete interior transformation.

@sellars21:

The seats and the "plastic" around the shifter are standard.
The 2.0R acropolis is, apart from the engine, similar to the WRX.

+1 on that. The only mods that I have so far as far as suspension/ handling is a rear 19mm swaybar (front 22mm not installed yet), and 17x8 wheels with 225-45 tires. It has made a pretty big difference in the body roll even without the front sway bar installed yet, and the wider tires help with overall grip.

I might try 235s next! My gas mileage doesn't like the wider tires, but my g-meter does.

You can get lowering springs.

Yea I just lowered my car last weekend, and I love it, it took a lot of the body roll away; and also if you want to take a lot out, you should also buy a strut bar or sway bars

Alright, so I have put a lot of mods in my subie and was wondering what you guys think of suspension.

What will be installed later this year.

Whiteline 20mm front sway bar
STI 19mm rear sway bar
kartboy endlinks
Bilstein GTWorx sport kit with RCE regular springs

Opinions are greatly appreciative.

Springs are nice but will blow your oem suspension at some point . I would recommend replacing the entire strut assembly, either coils or inserts both will help. Strut bars don't help the new chassis as much as it did on the GC, GD's (basically pre 08).

235's are the recommended size I'm pretty sure and the stock size of the Wrx tires. However on a 8" wheel I would take the 245's any day lol.
