Worth every penny. I posted a few pictures and a review of mine somewhere in this thread. Probably around a year ago.

do OEM STI headlamps fit in our cars? because I heard that they will fit into a WRX and that they just drop right it... but I don't have a WRX.. and I also have heard that they are better than getting an HID kit.. if not what is a good HID kit for our cars?

No HID kit is good. Yes all headlights 08+ WRX/STI will fit.

is there an advantage of replacing the stock 2.5i headlights for a WRX/STI headlight?

Depends which WRX. if its Base or Premium, no because they are halogens..

WRX Limited and STI will have an advantage due to its HID's.

alright sweet thanks! and just getting the OEM WRX Limited or the STI headlamp is smarter than getting a HID kit?

Well.. you should buy HID headlights. But you could just install HID kits into your stock halogen projectors. Only problem you will have is minimal glare, and maybe some trouble from cops.

I'd personally say stick with stock halos, and get HID kit... Then use that money that was supposed to go into a headlight (around $600?), and save it for future mods.

This. I have a 35watt 5k digital kit in mine and I absolutely love it. Having it properly aimed will take care of any issues minus a little bit of glare. I've been running mine for 2 years now and haven't even had a cop look at them

yeah, that does sound like the best idea, any recommendations on intensity or where to get an HID kit for 08+?

DDM tuning HID's seem to be popular with the 2.5i group. 35w 4500k-6000k. Anything above 6000k will look blue and may be a cop magnet as it is an "emergency" color.

so i've added a RSB, upgraded Springs / dampers. Car definitely feels alot more neutral on corners.

What other mods would fellow 2.5i-ers recommend?

Are upgrading bushings worth the money? like ALK or Diff Bushings

Keep your stockers as backup/winter set (assuming you go to snow).

You made the first couple big leaps so props to you for that.
Tires are a definite +1, short shifter&bushings, upgraded brake pads, grimmspeed mastercylinder brace, new brake fluid. The suspension bushings are really upto you. I purchased nearly every bushing that will fit our cars (including the rear diff bushings and ALK) and some really are just not worth it unless your building a track car and/or you want your car to be 100% stiff lol.
If anybody does want to buy whiteline's ALK (anti-lift kit) or rear diff bushings feel free to pm me!

Rallysport headers and de-shielded the cat pipe. Made way to much rattling noise for me.

Don't get a HID kit unless you have HID projectors. If all you want is more light output look at H9 bulbs, they're pretty much the same bulb design as the stock ones. You can get a pair for less than $15 and have a lot more usable light than the stock bulbs and you won't blind everyone on the road.

Yeah I'm getting some rattling and thinking about buying the rally sports, is the heat shield really necessary?

In the cold (-30c) I throw a cat inefficiently code from the rallisoprts just because its a high flow and need a lot of heat to work.

But for stock set up, probably wouldn't happen at all, heat shields not necessary. Just a protection thing.

I was so much happier when they were gone. Not a single noise now.
