No. And fill out your profile.

Post reported to mods in hopes of getting it moved to to the correct forum, which is NA Powertrain.

forced induction intake (manifolds) are usually not ideal for N/A engines since they rely on different conditions to cause optimum flow to the valves and into the cylinders.

Race, stop for a moment and consider the path the air takes, from outside world to throttle body, in an NA vs a turbo. Then edit your post

Hahaa, williaty im laughing at myself because i was assuming that the OP meant intake manifold. if he meant intake from filter to TB, then I am speechless. edited as necessary.

Yours is so new, Subaru, if they even have one, is probably the only one.

Yea there is little we can do to our 2.5i's at this point besides grills and trim options, wheels/tires. Nice car though.

racing101 - if you plan on being a occasional or frequent user of the NASIOC forums (and I hope you do, everyone is welcome!) you really should fill out your profile, it will allow for people you are helping/that are helping you out with any issues being delt with by knowing what vehicle you drive and where you are located. also, it will reduce the flaming resulting in less char broiled you.

Racing101, in terms of sound, in my opinion only an exhaust can help. Might be me, but any louder intake just sounds raspy to me, whereas some exhaust tunes are fantastic...

Hope I'm wrong, but to this point all I have heard is that they are focusing on the WRX and STI before the rest of us. If I am wrong then by all means let me know, cause I want one too

Interesting - their website doesn't want to list a price for me unfortunately... Let us know how it goes when you get it.

^^ i would rather wait a bit longer when more people come out and get that thing for way cheaper

700 for a catback would make my heart skip a beat

theres a bunch of stuff out...

start at rallitek or harman-motive and buy yourself some suspension bits to knock the "Im a soft 2008 economy box" right out of it. Seriously, adding a rear swaybar is night and day.

then theres a bunch of catbacks available, and anything that fits the WRX will fit your car (wagon to wagon, sedan to sedan). Just please dont get anything over 2.5" in diameter...

Has anyone used the Lachute Intake on their car yet? I was wondering if it was worth the money, or would i be better off waiting for someone like Injen to make one?
