Default Anyone finding grease on the rims?

I have a 2012 sport premium delivered in April. I have noticed my last couple car washes I have grease stains on the rims. It seems like its coming from the lug nuts. Any one else experience this?

Yes! Almost took my car back to the dealer as I didn't want to damage the wheels trying to get it off. You don't see it at first, but then it starts collecting dirt and looks really bad. My lug nuts were covered with whatever it is as well as the surrounding area. Multiple washes with soapy water has helped but it is not completely gone yet. Very hard to clean unless you take the lugs off.

They are spaying the lugs with something. Almost looks like the same crap they sprayed all the hinges with.

Yep, had this on my 11 outback too. Alittle bit of degreaser takes it right off and it won't damage the wheels.

Yeah it's extremely sticky. I spent some time one day and cleaned it off.

Just use microfiber cloth and scrub it off the wheels/lugs...problem solved...no damage to rims.
