Well just for future reference, maybe I was doing somthing wrong with the grimmspeed stuff, but the UPOL clear was much much better. I applied it the same way I did the GS stuff, but it actually worked as intended rather than clouding up instantly.

So I keep finding little mistakes and starting over on painting my hoodscoop, I ran out of basecoat and need to buy another can (I wish I had a compressor + gun....), I liked the grimmspeed PSM paint, but does anyone have any experience with other brands? I see these other 2 that look decent, but wanted input from someone who has used them, which one looks the closest to factory spec paint?

I highly recommend the clear coat for wheels. It's chip resistant. And very shiny. Idk if it'll work on plastic though. I'll check my container. You might want something with built in flex additive for the hood scoop. So it doesn't chip.

definitely start with some reliability mods first like an air oil separator. smeedia on youtube has good info if you're interested. i'd also recommend refreshing you engine before you do anything performance related.
