My only complaint about the headlamps is they look unfinished.
CF / painting / hell even a clearcoat would do wonders.

At least they look easy to replace, either with aftermarket or the much nicer set they'll come with in a few years.

Looking at the other turntable videos with the driver's door open, I'm thinking this thing is going to suck in US crash testing. We'll see.
Also, $70k?? So much for the original, "we're going to build a 1000 kg mid-engine sports car for less than 30k and it won't suck" from last year's shows. Yeah right. If this thing doesn't handle like a Lotus it will go the way of the Saturn roadster at that price. |

No pricing has been released for USA yet. If you are referencing €60,000 as the price you converted, that is for the special release "Launch Edition." The regular version will be much cheaper. AR has said that it was still aiming for ~$50k (Porsche Cayman territory). They really can't go much higher as the Cayman is there. |

well, Alfa sold this for 160.000 ***8364;
Rumours says that the normal version will be at 50-55.000 ***8364; But to be fair: they never said anything about 30 grand. |

I thought when they presented the flat red car they said they were going to make a mid engined car for less than 30k. Maybe they meant euro? I would agree that it (would have) sounded like a stretch give how ambitious the project sounded, but they also hadn't said they were going to use a carbon fiber chassis at the time.
ps- I don't disagree that the car probably needs to be $50~60k to absorb all the tech they seem to be putting in it, plus they could reasonably compete with the Lotus, but I don't think they have a chance of stealing most Cayman customers. |

With 500 of the 2500 units destined for the US they're not stealing anyone's customers.

I love the headlights. Spiders are cool and at least they're doing something different than the Audi LED-crap that everyone is doing now...

That is an extremely good point Manticus
the LED lights are the Altezzas of this decade. I think the lights look a bit weird, but I bet at night they look amazing. |

Also had to watch that 8C video..
Twice. That car could be the most beautiful thing I have seen produced in a very long time. I would put it on part with the E-type, and the Ferrari 275 GTB This car AND the 4C are the reasons Alfa needs to put all its styling prowes into a sedan and bring it here. NOW!!!! I do not care how fast it is. |

Well put, torquemada, but I was referring to more of a 3 series (F30) sized sedan, and I would hope it would sell for around 40-50k, just like a 335i. I guess I should have said I want Alfa to build a Alfa Styled 335i.
Plus I have always thought the Masarati's were.. a bit ugly. |

If this were 30K I'd buy reserve mine now. If it's priced comparably to a Cayman... I'm getting a Cayman.

The 4C is 1000# lighter than a Cayman, they are going to be very different cars to live with. Since a new Cayman starts at $52k, looks like you'll be buying one of those cause this isn't going to be cheaper. |

Its a sad thing that Ferrari canned the Stratos.. Since it was built off a shortened Ferrari.
