Question Wagon rear wiper question - how quickly does it cycle?

As documented here, a couple/few years back I installed a JDM rear wiper setup on my sedan. The wiring was all scavenged from a Legacy wagon, so (AFAIK) it's all the same as a wagon's rear wiper.

If I turn the wiper on, it goes continuously - there is no interval at all between sweeps. I've never had a wagon myself, but for whatever reason my impression was that the wagon rear wiper does have an interval, that it only sweeps maybe once every 8 or 10 seconds. Am I wrong on that?

Thanks,
Pat

I have a wagon but I never gave it any thought. I will check it and post tomorrow.

Charlie is right. No delay on either my Outback or the BK Legacy I had.

OK, must have been some other vehicles I've seen that had the delay.

I might try to figure out how to do that some day. The continuous sweep is just too much, even in heavy rain.

HAHAHAHAHAHA....LOL.....I usually go fast enough to not need to clear the rear glass often, just a "twist of the stalk" to do a clear now & then and I'm good to go.

Let us know if we can help some more.

I don't always drive at hilarious highway speed.
