It should last around a year. I'm going to do mine soon, did you use rattle cans or a sprayer?

It won't last a year. Wheels take a lot more abuse, dings, rock strikes, and water submersion than other parts. The door handles, gas cap, and front grille on my MINI have lasted over five years with four coats with touch ups on the grille every six months or so. But when I did my entire motorcycle with the same amount of coats, it only made it about two months before turning to complete crap.

The finish will technically last, but it'll look awful.

We did my buddies civics wheels way over a year ago and they have held up awesome. Make sure and clean our wheels really good wipe with rubbing alcohol and then apply thin coats as many as you desire I believe we did 4 or 5 maybe more.

Only do thin coats for the 1st 2-3 coats, then do 2 HEAVY coats. You get a smooth satin black finish that way. If you do all light coats its textured and almost dark grey

^this

It's very important that wheels are completely clean. Also let the 1st 3 coats dry for at least 10 min. I've found that 5-6 looks the best.

Today I replaced that same fog cover that keeps falling off. Pinned it first fit this time.

Now a moment of silence for the fallen.
We will miss you dear $20 fog light blank plates. Gone by kissing curbs, warped bumpers, wind pull, or thieving bastards. We are incomplete without you.
