I was planning to go for a cruze this weekend, but I think I'm going to attempt a strut/spring install instead. How about the weekend after next.

sounds good to me!
BTW, anyone want to buy a 96 cbr 600 f3 for cheap? Runs really good, looks bad (needs fairings) |

Hey Lee. How much for the CBR? How Many Miles on it? What work needs to be done to the Faring?
I have a friend looking for a decent 600 sport bike. He just happens to work for a paint/body shop too. So a little body work doesn't frighten him. |

You can get away with both L&R upper fairing, and lower right fairing [edit; and insert for lower right fairing]. They are expensive from Honda directly, but I found some race ones for cheap here: http://www.maier-mfg.com/ I should also have new factory front turn signals in a few days that will be included with the bike. It has 27k on it, yosh headers and pipe, and has probably been jetted. More than welcome to take if for a spin, it's a little rough when taking off at slow speeds, but it's very mechanically sound and runs very well! The clutch lever is broken on the end but there's more than enough to operate it just fine. I did some filler work on the rear panels, and they are straight and primered right now! So I'm thinking about $2k firm for the bike, add $600 race fairings, and you have a fun bike that sells for about $4k+. The front forks are just a hair off, they do NOT leak anything, and it probably just needs a new triple clamp (just get an aftermarket one!). |

You can see the parts and the blow ups of the fairings here:
http://www.cycle-parts.com/door/1.htm And for reference, it's a 96 CBR600F3 Give me a shout on the cell if you have more q's. BTW on a lighter note, I think the R6 shocked Danny so much that he doesn't want a bike now!! Maybe he should ride the F3 again? |

I passed on the information to my friend. I think he is interested. I'll let you know either way. Thanx Lee.
Hehe. Nice job with Danny there! Perhaps we should let the boy take an RC51 for a ride. |

Kill him! Yeah, Pretty good chance of that... But it would be one hell of a show!!
I've got your cell, I'll give you a ring if he wants to have a boo at the bike. It'll likely be some time on the weekend. |

Can we take a spin on the R6 too? God I miss riding. Funny how fast things can go from fun to scary.
