I am finishing college, last term thank god its over, and I have to just focus on this till i'm out. Than when i get back to the shop we'll take on the baja lift. !!!

Just a heads up/status report for those of you following this thread.
Albie my shop tech and business partner is in full force working on the lift. He went to the junkyard and picked up every single suspension component from the baja and is making all of the mocked up lift parts. He also worked out a deal with the local job shop to machine our transmission blocks for the lift out of solid aluminum. We are still waiting to get our new Baja, once we get our Baja we will install the lift and trial/beta test it. Everything should be moving along very quickly from this point. I will post pictures as soon as I can. JM |

I'm very curious to see what travel gains are made with this lift.

There shouldn't be any travel gains, as the lift should not affect the suspension geometry. Its mainly a device so you can stuff larger tires under your vehicle.
