I think the customer service experience like any other brand depends on the service center and location.

I had two mobile service appointment one at my house to replace my foggy tail light and it took 15 minutes and the second time mobile service came to my work with a new Tesla badge badge after removing it for PPF.

I also had my FSD HW3.0 computer installed at the service center in under an hour. So far the service is been fantastic in my area. I did had some issues when ordering my car and Tesla changing my configuration because they thought there was an error and there wasn't delaying my delivery.

This is probably accurate. I think Tesla is pretty heavy with the customer service along the west coast and service is more readily available. From a few friends, surgeons and nurses I know that have needed service in SLC, it's been a spread of decent / no worse than traditional dealer to "nightmare."

I think as there cash balance and business continues to expand, they will increase the service aspect of the business.

I would not be surprised if Elon does another stock offering and really primes the beast for expansion. He should take the opportunity and do it now.

Edit: Just read they are issuing another $5 billion in stock. Good for them, wish they would do more however.

East coast here. I just had mobile service come and install Homelink on our new MY. I also use the Service Center to swap the rubber before/after winter. I've had good service, but you do need to book in advance. The app makes it pretty easy.

For Long Island we used to only have two service centers (Brooklyn and Nassau County). They are about to open a third in Suffolk County shortly. That will help with congestion.

My service issues were the actual delivery experience where nobody would pick up the phone, and the long wait for parts/poor response of the contracted body shop when I needed a new rear bumper. This was in 2019 though so maybe it's better. I know in Michigan they have expanded service since then.

I think its location. We bought our Model 3 in September 2018 and didn't have issues. I've used three different SC here in NY without a problem.

I should have broadened it to west coast and also north east coast. Tesla is pretty damn heavy in those areas.

Ha ha ha some of the stuff the detailer shows is just horrendous. I don't think 80's Hyundai was building crap like that.

So Tesla was snubbed from getting into the S&P over the weekend. Looks to be a rough Tuesday start.

What's the word with the Semi? I'm assuming delayed / not happening in 2020

I'm wondering if it is soon the time to buy TSLA stock after this drop runs out of steam.

Of course Tela knew this was going to happen and so they issued stock at the most recent peak in pricing.

I'd think he would say about the same for most luxury sport sedans (S4, 335, etc), maybe except the BMW M3.

Yes and no. Tesla didnít anticipate being snubbed out of the s&p index. That put a tremendous amount of downward pressure on it. The company is still grossly overvalued. I am glad they did a capital raise when the stock was high.

Lots of FOMO fools with weak hands surely got caught holding the bags. I canít remember which large investment firm it was (I can google if needed) but they were buying billions in Tesla options and insuring it by buying the underlying stock for the last year. They have liquidated a significant portion of that which has also sent it down.

SoftBank. What is the fair value for Tesla? The whole market doesn't make sense; NIO is still up 500% for the year and Nikola is up 40% for the day lol. I need to learn how to take profits because this is painful the stock will be up again to AH but it might take a while. I been buying a few shares last week and today here and there.

So I shouldn't have bought a couple more shares last week

Was it this thread, or somewhere else that had this thought: "It's overpriced for right now, but cheap for 2030."

But my Workhorse stock though.. $1 to $22

Here is an ID3 review and it was not very good. It is really expensive:

Panel Gaps (!) badly built

I bet they had their suspicions that they weren't going to get in this time around. The S&P committee is somewhat arbitrary and I wouldn't be surprised if they had some kind back channel appeal/presentation to get in that Tesla could perceive as not going well. The timing of their split and stock offering seems to be too fortuitous.

Haha. I had one that wanted to party but I told her no, she had the herpes. Then I dated the bartender at the same place.

No marriage though. Not until it's "equal" like they say, but with the finances and bills. Until then hide your daughters.

@Tesla__Mania/Twitter posted that there is a list of changes that will surely please future Model 3 owners. However, he clarified that these changes are for the Model 3 made in China.
So, he listed the following updates:
  • New steering wheel
  • Center console 2.0
  • New headlights and tail lights
  • Power lift trunk
  • Chrome delete
  • Octovalve
  • Double-layer glass for better noise isolation

The wood trim comes with the luxury package. Base models get the plain white plastic.
