Default Burnsie is back! But you may not recognize him :)

coz he's now Nissan Sunspot yellow!

Repair has been hell.
...but it's over, and the car is back... not quite 100%, but he's back!

amazing to go from:

to:

to:

in about 5-6 weeks

dont try this at home!
view all of the repair work **click here**

so we have a few issues to sort (broke both control arms at the rally)
but we're back and we'll be tearing it up again soon!!

thanks again to all who showed their support and all who contributed to this massive task.
No way could we have made it without ya.

Blue is too common.
Now i have a one-off Wagon
no other WRX out there is this color. Unique is good

the rally:
well i had the car back to running condition 48 hours prior to the rally.
needless to say,
we had some mechanical bugs which didnt get worked out in time
finished 2nd on day one, didnt make it through yesterday

small details and photos here:
http://www.subiegal.com/images/ralli...yadrally05.htm

now that i have time, i'll find all of the bugs (i hope)
and get mr Burnsie back to 150% again

You got a good point about being unique! I hope one day I can drive something up in them there hillls with ya. Knowing my situation I will probably be in a Geo Metro, but not that fast red one! I hate the fact that I have some pretty decent driving skills, but no ride.

I am happy to see that you are back in it!

Looked good out there on stage Jamie. Attrition(sp?) rate was hell this weekend. Alot of good cars didn't finish.

Here's my team making a quick stop They are sore today, almost thought the co-driver broke his arm This was the 90 left 19 miles into the Nahwatzel stage just before spectator.

Looks good and just think of how much faster it will be now thats its yellow

I think you need more PDXTuning stickers on it too. If someone is under the car they may not be able to see any of the other ones

Whoa!!!! That's amazingly quick repair skillz. Took me 4 months just to replace my trunk cover, hohoho

How did you find a donor car so quick? I need a "donor car" for a rear bumper cover, hehe

Kind of reminds me of the FWD Impreza you used to rally. Wasn't that one yellow too?
