its more of style, however i have heard of aero benefits when accelerating @ high speeds...

you dont have to but it might be easier when tightening the hex screw with the nut...

i didnt have to i just had to reach behind my bumper and squeeze my arms in ...

I would suggest lowering the price. You can get this exact one on ebay for cheaper.



And the ones from autozone rust unless you paint them prior to installation and they also stick out farther then these do depending on how much of an angle you're looking to have.
