Default I Need A Part Number for the HUGE Bolt in the Rear Knuckle

Some moron at the factory thought it would be cute to weld the bushing of the front lateral link to the giant bolt running through the rear knuckle and lateral links with about a gallon of loctite. In order to remove the mes, I'm going to have to cut the head off the bolt and push it out of the knuckle the wrong way. Then I can discard the bolt an the front lateral link and replace the bolt and the lateral links (which is the point of this whole exercise).

So what's the part number for that big assed bolt? It's about 8-10" long and takes a 19mm wrench.

Scottie, when I plug that part number into the OE Catalog at SubaruGenuineParts.com, it returns A LOT of parts with that part number? What the heck is up with that? They all have the same price. The years vary, the names vary, the end of the car it goes on varies! Is it trying to tell me that this one bolt with that part number appears several places on several different cars?

And damn that's an expensive bolt!

Expensive? Dude, I have a few of them lying around I'm not using.

Hell, I have one sitting on the floor a few feet to my right. I think I last used it as a handle for an engine stand. If you want, I'll gladly send it to you for the cost of shipping from PA. Granted, it's used and a little rusty, but the one already on your vehicle will be in the same condition.

Nobody used loctite on that bolt- you live where winters are harsh and salt is used extensively . That bolt comes right out on a car from AZ but comes out with a torch on a car from NH

That's pretty strange. The gunk in the threads looks just like the remains of blue LocTite.

I Dremeled the head off the bolt just now (the new Dremel cut-off discs specifically for metal ROCK, btw). I'm breaking for supper and then I'm going to try to knock the bolt out forwards. Wish me luck.

If you have not already installed the bolt, put anti-seize on it (not the threads).

Just wait until you have to service the ball-joints!
