People have been this way for like ever. I started working in a garage as a kid in the late 50's. We would get calls from people that their car would not start in cold weather. We would tow it to the garage, let it warm a little and pull the oil drain plug. After about 5 minutes stuff would start to fall out. Note--not run out.
Starting problem solved with a WAY past due oil change.

And oh (seeing starting fluid can)
How many times did you use it?
customer "once or twice, not much"
Jumped it with a big ol bus battery. Cranked right over. Blew off the valve covers, oil pan and some of my hair.
So it's not a new thing.

Vehicular maintenance is not in the "Driving" tests... It's not a part of driving...

I just read every post in this entire thread. Amazing how so much fail in the public turns into so much win in a thread.

I don't see anything in that picture that I don't see everyday, haha. Trucks like that are the "norm" here in PA.

I still don't understand why they do it though.

Nissan actually made a dually Hardbody from 86-92. They are super rare!
It was called a Heavy Duty.

Really?? Well I know the guy from high school and he has had it since then, but back then it was a regular bed and it was brown with only four wheels. Fast forward 15 yrs later it is now brown in the front as is the bed but the dually fenders are blue. It also has the dually rear axle. I guess he did a conversion. When we first saw it we were like . We had never seen a 4 cylinder dually before then.

They are much more common in Latin and South America. There it was called the Nissan Navarra. the beds there had tie down hooks on the sides of teh bed. They made them there till 2006. They also have/had a quad cab version down there from 98-2006 and a diesel version. There was also a camper conversion version early on in the US.
Another rare configuration for tha ttruck in the US is the SEV6 4wd Reg Cab model.

A friend of mine in Diesel Tech back in high school did the same thing to his '90s toyota pickup. I'll see if I can find the photo.
