I personally like to hear the updates and technology advances of the GT-R, so let's not close the thread.

I agree with you, but the problem is that with each new thread and/or update of the GT-R, there is always the argument made about how it has flappy paddles, even though we've heard the same argument over and over again.

Technology advances? Blasphemy! It peaked in 1975! Who cares that your car does 0-60 in 2.7? THAT'S MIND BOGGLING!

Only a car noob would say that. Real enthusiasts know it peaked in 1894 and has gone downhill ever since.

Seriously, Let's get this back on track (myself included) so it doesn't get locked. Or is the subject done?

I'm just curious if the front end is going to have any changes.

At first I liked the refresh, but after I saw it a few times, it looked a little too busy with the LEDs (which definitely look like an afterthought) and the three (instead of two) canard-like ridges.

The LEDs are stupid, trendy, bandwagon jumping, tacked on glitter.

I think I will be trading up to a 14 just for the CF buckets. If they follow the lines of the actual exotics the seats will be a 15k upgrade lol

But the GTR's not about performance. I think that's some people's point... hard to even tell sometimes.

Not at all.. I just think it's amusing that we spend so much money trying to make cars as fast as a $10,000 sportbike.

^^^

Yeah, it was the second someone brought up manual transmission. We all know we all know, it just cannot be left alone. It's equivalent to the BRZ AWD wish/argument/complaint/non-rumor/fail.

I, too, want to hear about improvements on an already ridiculous platform. If that includes adding a third pedal sequential gearbox for the die-hards, I'm all eyes. If not, I'm all eyes. Love the GTR, love the concept, love that Nissan still makes it...

I'm still wondering about this aspect of the car, too.

Well, it's been 4yrs. Other than one or two mongotards grenading their trannies and blaming Nissan for it (and creating interweb hype), I'd say pretty damn good.

Aside from the very hard driven cars (track sluts with lots of power), all the cars I know personally are very reliable.

I got only to page 2 before i got a headache.

#1- if you have anything negative to say about the GT-R, you cant afford one.

#2- all the tools that think MT is "better" because they "feel" a connection with the car lol, tell me more about it... as you bang those gears and i fly past you, while waving with one hand lol. But its ok, you're BADASS because you drive a MT.

Its 2012...read a book.

Yeah, and why is that? All/the huge majority of criticism cast at this car is done so by individuals who have and never will drive it. It is all crap in the end............just a bunch if internet whining, speculation, and posturing. Life moves on........
