Default What is this?

I am replacing my short block because of a spun bearing and I cannot get the connector off this from my old engine.

Does anyone know what this is so I can order a new one? It looks like it has a T on the end of it and 2 hoses are connected to it.

Looks like where the PCV valve connects up to the block. It has the y and hoses attached to it that you described.

Agreed.
The rubber like hose that fits on that nipple gets hard with age, seems more like plastic than rubber.
A hair dryer on the hose that fits there may allow getting it off. If you yank too hard or bend it, the hose WILL break off.
Dealer is the best source and not too expensive.

ok, you guys are geniuses.. now the hard part. So I have a 2.5i and it looks like in this image it isn't a hose, which is how mine is, it's a metal fitting. I have been searching for hours on Subaru's Website and I am not sure if I should just get this:

or if I should try to find the original metal adapter shown here:
