Great numbers bud, it's not easy hitting those numbers out west. Do you have a build thread?

Are there different tiers of e85 like gasoline or does solely ethanol content matter?

Anyone help me with my route forward?

I've got a 16' STI.
- Cobb SF intake
- Full Invidia Catted TBE
- eTuned By Eric @ Torqued Performance
I've been eyeing Cobb's Flex Fuel kit but haven't seen answers to a few questions I have.

Will my stock injectors handle an e85 blend? 4th gear WOT currently hits 88% injector duty cycles on a run up to redline. What sort of blend would begin maxing my system?

Will the stock fuel pump handle that blend or do I need to upgrade?

Other suggested supporting mods for the conversion?

I'd do GS EBCS and a protune upon install.

I would try 50% first with the lowest boost level.

If you are going to get a pro tune anyway buy a pump and bigger injectors and run full E85. That's a huge expense to be limited by stock fp and injectors, plus you won't get much of a bump in power. Quite frankly, at 88% I wouldn't do anything more, you are just asking for issues.

We made 555/537 @ 28 psi but backed it down as everything is still pretty fresh with this new build. Lots of room to go, we left plenty on the table.

Default The E85 Army Thread

Sooooo, just got my 04 back ej205 . Had the engine rebuilt with sti rods and Manley piston kit, heads rebuilt. Engine was in good condition, just had 165k miles on it. I’m running a VF30 on E85 with 1050x injectors and all supporting equipment. If I wanted to upgrade the turbo for a little more bump or just a simple upgrade, what would be a good choice?
