Default TiC Throttle body spacer

Turn in Concepts has a throttle body spacer made by geddesk2, and it states that it fits the 2000-2004 rs. I have searched a little and have found sort of mixed reviews about whether or not it will work for 99 and 05 rs. Obviously the 99s and 05s are MAF as opposed to 00-04 which is MAP, so am i right to assume that this is the reason for it possibly not working?

question is will the TBS work for 05 despite what TiC website says?

According to this post the spacer will fit the '05 manifold just fine. And MAP vs. MAF has nothing to do with whether the TBS will fit or not.

Like above poster said its has nothing to do with MAP vs. MAF. The gaskets you get with the kit are (Subaru) P/N 16175AA201. So if these are the TB to IM gaskets that fit or will fit your car then spacer kit will work.

Got mine a week ago. I'm installing in a few weeks. I can't wait for the results.
