Will this bulb work for the 9005 high beam replacement? I'm assuming my DRL's will work like normal?

Philips responded to a question I had about their bulbs and they said I will have the best lighting if I use:

Low beam H11 X-treme vision not the H9
High beam 9005 X-treme vision
Fog 9006 X-treme vision
Those bulbs are 9011s. You'll have to snip off some plastic as indicated in the Candlepower site. The DRLs will work.

How does my light pattern/cutoff look? I feel like my passengers side headlight is aimed a bit higher and never noticed that until after putting in the H9 bulbs. I did adjust the drivers side up a little and passengers side down, but it seems like I'd have to do a lot more adjustment to have them level from left to right. Wondering if I'm missing something?

Ok, I can't figure out how to attach a picture from my files! Always asks for a URL?

The right side should be slightly higher than the left. Drive on some side roads near where you live. Make adjustments as necessary.

Is that really the only way to do it on NASIOC? It's almost 2019...

Last night I almost hit a deer. Eyesight wasn't used, as I hit the brakes. The clock in the video wasn't set properly.
The equipment I'm using with my reflective low beam and fog housings is;

2016 Crosstrek Limited Crystal White / Black leather
(GRD - 23) Moonroof Package W/Navigation/Eyesight
Auto-dim Mirror/Homelink + Alarm/shock sensor + Side moldings

de Auto Key 5000k HID kit

Philips 9011 HIR1 Diode Dynamics XML2 5000k Fog Lights
SpyTec A118-C Dash Cam

I hit the brakes before the deer shows in the video. I had the HID lows and the LED fogs on.
The human eye can pick up objects in lower light than the digital camera.

First thing that i did when bought my vehicle I switched to xenon. Buying better bulbs could help improving visability but not the actual look of ur car. I have tried a lot of bulbs and some do work but at some point you would still see the yellowish shade coming from ur headlights. I have used led for my fogs with canbus adapters to avoid blinking but wouldn't recommend installing them into headlights as they do produce heat. Some cheap versions will melt inside the headlight.

The Diode Dynamic LED XML2 5000k fogs cost $120 and are high quality.

I went with a set of VLEDS Mirco LED headlights and fogs, huge difference. They recently discontinued the micro’s and started sell micro evolutions (supposedly brighter that micros) Only issue is that you can sometimes hear the fan on the bulb. (Very minor)
