LED tail light bulbs won't stay in?
A while ago I had a tail light bulb go out on my '08 Impreza 2.5i. I had been wanting to upgrade to LED tail lights for a while so I finally took the plunge and ordered some from Amazon (in MN you only need one working tail/brake light and I still had one tail light and three brake lights). The bulbs I got are just Chinese AHEVO 7443s and when they are plugged in they work great. However they do not like to stay plugged in, old glass based bulbs are fine. Do I need to switch to a better brand of LEDs or could it be the sockets (they do not look like they are in the best shape on the contacts).

Probably poor quality bulb bases, seeing as how your original bulbs stay in fine. I have Diode Dynamics for every bulb in/outside the car with no issues whatsoever.
