Default Avcs stuck advanced?

What would cause BOTH intake cams be be stuck advanced? Nothing was recently changed other than a reflash but i have flashed back to my old rom with no change. Oil level is perfect, unplugging ocv has no effect. Both side avcs are stuck at 29-31 degrees.
Motors a jdm 01 ej205.

Yes. Avcs has been working and the car running great. I started logging avcs recently. Once they got stuck at 29-31 the car runs like crap. Rough idle and no top end, alot of feedback knock after boost sets in.

Check the avcs sensors in the rear of each head. On my ej207, oil leaked into those sensors and up the wiring causing my avcs to read improperly and fail to function at times. Took me awhile to figure out because the car ran great and I would get a CEL like once every 6months for it.

Also clogged avcs screen filters. Those would probably cause the more severe issues your experiencing

Ive taken the ocv solenoids out today and both operate freely. Going to crack the banjo bolts tomorrow and look for screens. When sending power to the ocv valve each cam will advance but settle back at 30. Whatvare the chances the crank skipped a tooth on the timing belt? This is the only thing i can think of that would effect both cams equally. I dont believe its the sensors, cars idling and running like crap, i beleieve they truly are advanced.
