Default 06-07 Wrx clutch??

What type of clutch are you guys running? I can only find Spec clutches for these years. Act doesn't make any? Its what their website says. Anybody have any suggetions for other companies or some info for me? Why is it that Spec doesn't even give torque ratings, they just say stage rating?

THanks

If you have stock gears stick with stock clutch, alot less expensive to replace a clutch than it is to replace your tranny

tranny is on the way to andrewtech, and my power levels exceed the stock clutch. I have the tranny out, so I might as well do my clutch now. Any suggestions?

06-07 tranny is a push style similar to what the 98-01 RS is.. Its completely different than any other WRX made until 06 and 07. Spec makes a twin disc clutch for your year model i believe. But i would recommend a stage 3+ for any street vehicle. Dont get anything else other than the 3+ or stage5. Trust me.. Spec clutches are all i run.. they make some good products and bad.. just like any company. I loved their 3+, I outgrew their 3+ and moved on to stage 5. Their 3+ for the RS is rated at 580 ftlbs of torque. So, i would say that will be more than enough for your application. Msg me if you have any questions on their clutches.
