Default Leaked all my oil ! Now my motor stutters under boost and wont accelerate !

I have another thread regarding my oil leak coming from the turbo..

This thread I posted because I have another issue now at the same time.

ALL OF MY OIL DRAINED OUT TODAY! I drove like this for a while. And then I checked the oil level and noticed it was empty. I also noticed as soon as I start to hit boost my car stutters and will not accelerate as if my fuel is cutting out.

I need to tap on the gas so lightly to avoid hitting any boost at all to be able to drive it at all. If i hit boost it stutters and cuts out.

PLEASE SOME EXPERT OUT THERE TELL ME I DIDNT RUIN MY MOTOR !!!

I can try plugs and coil packs but I feel strongly that internally i damaged something. I hope not.

I filled it up with oil and reset my ECU.

I dont have a CEL but same problem continues in any gear as soon as I start to hit boost at all.

Did the low oil pressure light on the dash come on? If all of your oil drained out suddenly you have some other kind of problem dude. You would notice all of the engine oil leaking out suddenly. My guess was it was low anyway.

The boost problem seems like some other problem.

the oil light did NOT come on.

then i checked the oil and it was dry.

the oil leaked out due to a leak by the turbo and the oil feed line..

i didnt think it was possible for it to leak out that fast but it did.

so now im stuck with this...

im hoping that maybe the turbo itself is hot leaking the oil and boost but my car still wouldnt cut out like it does..

i have read around and heard maybe the tgv could be the problem.. not allowing boost to enter the motor..

sounds like what is going on..

as soon as boost builds up.. the car cuts out.

The dipstick doesn't tell you below a certain point - how much oil did you actually need to put in to get it up to the full mark?

Don't know where you read that but that would be pretty low on the list of possibles imo - especially without throwing a CEL

Tell us some more about your motor / mods and we may be able to help. What exactly caused the leak?

If your oil feed line was leaking and you weren't sufficient oil to the turbo there is a possibility that the turbo is done.

Not registering on the dipstick doesn't mean your engine was devoid of oil just really low.

yah, especially if the leak was by the inlet side of the turbo meaning the turbo was getting almost no oil even before the engine started getting starved. pray it's just the turbo, tdo4's are only like 100 bones with decently low mileage.

So how much oil did you end up putting back in the motor to get to the full line (or halfway between L & H, whatever) on the dipstick?
