Just the centers. If you're having a hard time telling the difference, then I achieved the effect I was going for.

A day later, looking at my overlays I noticed a few things. The bluebat overlays are achieving the effect I'm looking for (darkened centers) but the overlays are not following as exact of a line, to the factory tail lights, as I'd hoped.

I'm tempted to trim them in places but I don't want to mark up the tail light with an xacto blade, and trimming won't help in other spots.

I ordered a set of overlays years ago for my Celica and they turned out great.

Just emailed again today, hope it's a quicker response than last time :P

Thanks again!

Oh, also anyone have success stories of self install? Watched some YouTube vids, and looks like its more time consuming than difficult.

I'm not 100% satisfied with the way these look. I sent you an email but I know that you're busy and it's not the best way to get a hold of you, so:

Are the overlays you sent me made to interface with the red vinyl overlay that is the most popular option with the wrx? Are they intended to be trimmed? I watched my pro installer put it in, and he lined up the overlays with the body panel gaps, so the material would wrap around the tail light plastic. If you look at the pictures I posted, you can see the odd overlap on the reverse lights.
check your pm .

Just talked to [email protected] regarding the fitment of my tail light overlays. He responded promtly and we are in process of replacing the overlay that wasn't fitting right. You will never get that kind of personal attention buying eBay overlays.

[email protected] thank you for the good customer service and getting back to me so quickly.

I'm glad i pulled my overlays (non bat, but not ebay either) and painted the tails instead. Was far less effort, and much better end result with paint than it was with vinyl.
