Sounds nice, but from the website it looks like it's suspension and badging only. I can't read Japanese -- did they remap the ECU or do any engine work, lighten it, etc.??

... today is one of those days when I loath Japan.

The list of things that I wouldn't do for that sedan is very, very short.

If you look at the specs page, they have the 6MT rated at 276HP... i'm moving to japan.

Yeah, "Tuned by STI" isn't like an actual "STI" car...

Seems to me to be more of an Audi S-Line, versus say an S4, S6, S8.

The "Tuned by STI" designation is there because it sounds cool. One thing, the car is on the STI website listed as an "STI Version Product" along with the S204. I'd consider it a "Legacy STI".

Ooohhh mmyyy gaaawwd... FHI continues to make vehicles that would sell so well here, but rufuse to acknowledge the demand. Subaru has the means and resources to make equal models available for us 'non-land-of-the-rising-sun folk , not to mention the market for these "AWSOME" vehicles that they would, without a doubt, sell remarkably well...

well the spec b is a step in the right direction. Maybe our 2008 spec b will realy be good if the 2007 sells well.

A 6MT tranny and an EJ20 @ 280PS(276HP)? Sounds like a STI to me.

That is incredible.

I'd take that over an USDM STi anyday...

Not an RA Spec. C or S204 though

Maybe...

But the '07 spec.B in the US has the 6-speed. And 250hp with the EJ255. Put a 2.5" or 3.0" catback on there and I bet you'll be nearly 275hp... (With the old measurement system anyway.)

Just saying.

Is this a better version of the s401 or is it the same thing?

And what is the name of that dark greyish color?
