Also, we know that there are a lot of people looking for various different oil pumps out there, and we have done our best to get them all. All of our kits come complete with all bolts and gaskets necessary for installation.

Here is a list of what we have at the moment, and if there is a different pump that you are looking for, please feel free to PM us.

This pump comes on the 2008 STI.
Because of the AVCS on both the Intake and Exhaust cam's,
Subaru improved the design of this pump,
and increased the rotor size from
10 mm to 11mm to increase oil flow.

Kit comes complete with:
- 2008 STI Oil Pump
- Crank Oil Seal
- Cylinder Block O-ring
- Seven new mounting bolts.

Click Here for the USDM 2008 STI Oil Pump Kit - $139.95

For: Subaru EJ20 & EJ25.

This pump flows 20% more volume, while maintaining the factory USDM STI peak oil pressure. It is great for high RPM use where your original factory oil pump could not keep up with the needed oil output to properly lubricate your engines internal components. Factory Subaru engines sometimes lack the necessary oil flow and lubrication to the cylinder heads, causing excessive wear that is sometimes seen on the camshaft journals. This pump will reduce wear in these areas.

Kit includes:
- JDM 12mm Oil Pump
- Crank Oil Seal
- Cylinder Block O-ring
- Seven mounting bolts.

This pump fits:
02 - 08 WRX
04 - 08 STI
05 - 08 Legacy GT

Click here for the JDM 12mm Oil Pump Kit - $235.00

High performance engines require additional oil pressure because of the increased demand placed upon various components within the engine. The Cosworth High Pressure Subaru EJ20/EJ25 series oil pump is modified to increase oil pressure helping to ensure superior lubrication.

Each pump is carefully inspected and de-burred for unobstructed oil flow. Perfect for high performance daily use Each kit includes all required mounting hardware and seals.

Maintain proper oil pressure during high performance driving
Installation hardware included.

Click here for the Cosworth Blueprinted 12mm Oil Pump - $256.99

Increasing oil volume will help to prevent bearing damage and engine failure. Additionally, sustained High RPM use may cause oil starvation at the rod and main bearings.

The Cosworth High Volume Subaru EJ20/EJ25 series oil pump utilizes a completely new inner and outer 12mm rotor to increase volume by 20%. Suggested applications include drag, track day and race use. Each kit includes all required mounting hardware and seals.

Click here for the Cosworth High Pressure & High Volume Blueprinted Oil Pump - $418.99

Oil control can be a problem with high performance and high revving Subaru engines. High crankcase pressure along with the horizontal engine platform restricts rapid oil return from the cylinder heads to the oil pan. Pressure builds in the heads and crankcase causing massive blow by and power loss.

The Cosworth Subaru Oil Pan Baffle has been engineered with diverters to control oil returning from the cylinder heads to the pan directing it away from the crankshaft. Additionally, one-way valves prevent oil from reentering the upper crankcase chamber thereby limiting blow by and preventing oil starvation during hard driving.

Manufactured from stainless steel and installs easily between the block and oil pan on both EJ20/EJ25 series engines.

Use with Cosworth High Volume Oil pan for maximum oil control.

Manufactured from stainless steel
- Easy installation
- Minimize blow by during sustained high rpm use
- Helps prevent oil starvation during hard driving

On Sale now for $279.99

Click here to order the Cosworth Oil Baffle Plate

Sustained high rpm's or prolonged high speed driving will result in elevated oil temperatures. Additional oil volume along with improved oil control will reduce damaging oil temperatures improving performance and reliability.

The Cosworth EJ20/EJ25 High Volume Oil Pan is fabricated from both custom and original components resulting in an additional 2qts oil capacity when compared to standard oil pan.

Each kit includes powder coated oil pan, mounting hardware, oil pickup and spacer.

This kit will not work with some equal length exhaust manifolds. Use with the Cosworth oil control baffle for maximum performance.

Will the 08 pump work on MY02 WRX? What's the real advantage of it over the MY02 pump?

Yes, this will fit on your 02 WRX. The advantages of this pump are that it has an 11mm pump Vs. your OEM pump's 10mm section. This allows it to pump a higher volume of oil. In addition to that, it has an updated design compared to your OEM pump which allows the oil to flow in and out more easily.

If your car is stock, then I would recommend just using the OEM pump. However, if you are making a lot more power, or are putting in a EJ257, then this wouldn't be a bad idea.

Thanks, and let us know if you have any other questions.

Oil flow = lubrication not oil pressure, so how does higher oil pressure help? I can raise my oil pressure by running a heavier weight oil, but that doesn't make it good for me car.

Is the JDM Oil Pump an OEM Subaru piece or something else?

Thank you for your question.

The JDM 12mm pump is an OEM subaru pump. What you quoted is from Cosworth's re-worked 12mm pump, which starts as an OEM pump, and is then gone over.

Both the volume of oil that a pump can supply, and the preasure with which it supplies it are part of the lubrication system of your engine. The JDM oil pump has the capacity to pump a larger volume of oil, but does not increase the amount of pressure with which the pump delivers it. You could certainly run a thicker oil if you felt you needed to, or modify the shims in the return spring to increase pressure, or get Cosworth's High Pressure High volume pump.

It really depends on the application, and if your engine is more or less stock, the OEM oil pump is most likely sufficient. These oil pumps will be most helpful on a modified or built motor. Where this is most important would be on a motor where the bearing clearances have been changed.

Something else to consider is that driving a higher pressure pump, or thicker oil, takes more hp, so will increase your parasitic losses. Ideally, you want to run the thinnest weight of oil that gives sufficient protection, and a higher volume pump to make sure that there is an adequate supply of oil to the motor.

In general, I would say that you don't need it. However, if you are putting on a new timing belt, etc., or you need to put in a new oil pump any way, the 11mm pump wouldn't be a bad idea...

I think as long as you are using a good oil, and keeping up on your mantinence, you should be all right.

Are you using your car at the track a lot, or is it mostly a daily driver?

If you are tracking the car a lot, something else to consider would be the high volume oil pan. This will help ensure that your engine has plenty of oil (especially paired with a high volume pump. The oil has to come from somewhere after all), and will help with oil starvation under hard cornering. The Baffle plate would help with this as well.

Come to think of it, I need to get off my kester and get them on our car as well...
