Default 06 wrx with vf39 and stock intercooler?

I'm getting the vf39 for my car but i was wondering if it would be alright to run it with the wrx stock intercooler and run cobb's map for that turbo.
what kind of power gain differences would i see if i use sti IC and stock IC.
thanks!

you will need at least an sti top mount to run that turbo injector and fuel pump will run close a little past 80 % which is recomended duty cycle, best thing to do is get it tuned , now you will hear people say theres always a guy telling you to get tuned and not everybody has the money to get tuned will its not as expensive as things can be if you dont do it right . A good road tune not dyno tune is always pretty cheap as long as you search remember that dyno run can come after a "it feels badass" road tune. No scooby is the same so why would you use a map that is a genearal map .Cobb is awsome but it is only a tool that is awsome when used right and belive me you will save al ot of money in the long run

at least STI TMIC or maybe some thing bigger than that. You should be better with the bigger TMIC.

The STi top mount should be fine. The stock IC on the 06 is so ridiculously small that it has to be replaced.

Get an Ebay tmic. Bigger than sti intercooler, and a lil cheaper.
