Subaru Stars FS: Stromung 2.5inch catless DP

Old style stromung downpipe; 2.5inch catless, flat flange OEM style. Used for 2yrs., has minor rust around flange area but nothing serious, otherwise fine. Direct bolt on. Great for someone in college on a budget etc., i trapped at 103+mph using it so it works just fine IMO.

$60 non-neg. tri-state area pickup/meet only.

Yeah i was using that downpipe mated to the rest of the stromung turboback and turboxs muffler. If you want my opinion on the matter if your using the stock turbo this downpipe is fine, even a vf23 or something this would not be a limiting factor. I only got a new downpipe because this design does not work with the turbo i bought which has a built in seperator for the wastegate.

I wont have any pics until tomorrow though since it's at the shop still.

This old design replaces both cats right? If so, I'll most likely take it next time we're up at SV. So I guess... dibs? And I gotta see this new setup you have

No, this downpipe just replaces the 1st cat. It connects to the stock 3rd cat. or any aftermarket exhuast that can mate with the stock downpipe. If you want the rest of the stromung turboback exhuast i think it costs $150 for the midpipe, $100? for the 3rd cat eliminator, and you can buy any muffler that mates to the stock midpipe (like prodrive, stromungs own muffler, turboxs RFL etc.)

OR you can buy this downpipe, then buy the stromung 3rd cat eliminator, and you can mate up any catback system available to it.

I'll be up at SV sunday if your there come find me.

Yeah, i have the usual problem with 1st gear like most wrxs, and i also have a problem with 5th gear synchro being gone as well. I double clutch alot lol

My 4th gear was grinding frequently, and then i put in Royal Purple fluid and the synchro seems to have woken up again. My 1st and 5th gears still suck.

Old thread, but I figured I'd ask - You don't still have this DP, do ya? Because I'd come get it from you.
