No, on my dyno graph it is less than that. What I mean is, how it responds in actual driving.

I hate to dredge up a thread that has been quiet for over a year now but I am in a similar boat. I live at 10k ft and my subie spends most of its time between 7k and 11k ft. I am looking to get 300+whp but turbo spool is the driving force as I am on and off the throttle on the mountain roads up here. Currently my build is leaning towards a hybrid build like unabomber mentioned. It's an 02 wrx with an 04 sti spd w/06 hub upgrades and slightly oversized tires. My subie spends most of time on dirt roads and will likely never see a drag strip.
