Post up for sure. I'd be interested.

So i'm a newbie thats trying to buy a handgun. I narrowed it down to a cz sp 01, where is a good place to find one? Seems like they are not super easy to find. I've been to a couple places, federal way discount guns, discount gun sales in tukwila, and bens loans in renton, no luck at any... Anybody have a recommendation?

Not being rude just simply stating that there is much more selection online. Especially right now when guns are flying off the shelf

No probs, but that's for sure all stores I went to today were slammed and didn't have huge selections. Federal way guns had the most, but didn't seem to want to take specific customer requests... So it's off to the interwebs to find it. I've tried cheaper then dirt, buds guns and a couple others that don't have them in stock, other suggestions?

A bit over priced but you can try cabellas. I doubt you'll find a new one but they sell used guns also

I've always like CZ's. They fit in my hand nicely and I seem to shoot them very well. Good choice btw.

Right now I would just say call your local gun shops and see if they have one in stock and hit up the gun shows. nobody can really say for sure who is going to have one but it dosen't hurt to try.

as for ammo for that thing. good luck. 9mm, .22 LR, .223/5.56, and even 380 are very hard to find right now.

Finding ammo can be tough, but it helps if you have friends in different cities who can give you the heads up when their local stores receive their shipments.

The Salem rally looked impressive.

I am out of town otherwise I would have gone, but it looks like a Portland rally is in the works. I might go to that.

Picked up a Kel-Tec P-11 a few weeks ago. Fortunately was able to find a LGS that wasn't gouging on everything else not even considered for a ban. Now to track down some more ammo and extra mags...

Lol I've had a hard enough time getting her to shoot a .380. Gotta take small victories

Now are you talking about a subcompact or a pocket gun, because .380 handles differently in those two platforms. .380 in subcompact isn't bad to shoot, but .380 in a pocket gun is gonna be painful. My little Seecamp .32 is one of the hardest guns to hold on to that I've ever shot, and the .380 version is even worse. Find a range that rents the gun you're thinking of buying because some of these little guns are monsters to shoot.

If a .380 is comfortable for her to shoot then go for it. It's got more than enough power for a carry gun. Fmj in both .32 and .380 can do 15-16" in ballistic gelatin which is comfortably within the fbi standard that everyone cites. The fbi standard is if the bullet penetrates less than 12.5" it is inadequate, and if it penetrates more than 18", it is still satisfactory but not optimal.
