Some Kid in my government class that claims he has a TT Supra told me to get the WRX and not the STi because the STi has so much down force that it makes the car slower.Turns out he drives a POS old Dodge Durango.

Tell it to the kid on the "car for sale" classifieds. He used to be on here as a diff name(now No_Traction), talked trash with his vw, then got banned. Now he made a new name has an srt4 and bumps the thread 2+ times a day. Tsk tsk on a SUBARU forum no less.

Here's your problem...you should have said "One of the bolts holding it on got stripped, and I didn't want only 1 bolt holding the plate on. It would scratch the paint or worse, the plate could fall off on the road somewhere."
If I ever get pulled over for the front plate, that's my story lol

Don't start something with him, his member# is too low! You'll never win! He was here before the WRX became the new Civic!

I drove past my building looking for a parking spot and there weren't any so I had to go all the way around to the back lot. Got a text from my roomate/

"Did you just drive by? Because Jordan (my other roomate)'s car alarm is going off.

Win.

God how I hate that when I'm at school. that's how you can usually find the ricers. the fart cans drive by and activate the alarms. and they are all eclipses and civics. Funny story regardless

Invidia V3 catless downpipe and N1 Race catback. Not exactly fart can. But downshifts tend to be a tad on the louder side. lol

Was changing the tranny+Diff oil because the last owner never did the 30k maintenance(it is at 39k now).

Guy: DON'T UNDO THAT DRAIN!
Me: Why?
Guy: That is the motor oil drain!
Me: No, it's over here, these are the tranny oil drains.

Other Guy: Are you seriously going to put this in your car?
Me: Yes(Big Grin)
OG: Seriously putting Hand Disinfectant in your car?
Me: Yes.... *Pause* It is actually Gear oil, had to order it, it was what a Dealer out in PA sent me. This was the only way for me to get it without buying a 5 gallon jug, so they filled up some bottles they had laying around.

i've got two funny ones.

i recently put NEON GREEN wheels on my car. yes some hate it but I LOVE IT. here is what it looks like:

anyway, i just put them on, and i'm driving to class. i'm at a light and the person to my right is honking and waving at me, since my windows are tinted i roll the passenger side down and see what she wants.

LADY: did you know your wheels are green!
ME: yes. (rolls window back up)

did she think i would have no idea, now that i think about it i should have just acted surprised like "omg no way!"

story 2 involves the loud exhaust discussion above ^. for those of you that dont know, the STOCK sti sedan exhaust drones REALLY bad between 1500-2k rpms. while driving in the parking decks i'm in 2nd gear at about that rpm. It sets off almost every damn alarm. mid last week i was pulling into a spot when the school rent-a-cop- blocks me in and walks up to my window and knocks.

he insisted to tell me that i'm lucky he doesn't give me a ticket fo my loud exhaust and the fact that i'm setting off car alarms on purpose. i went on to tell him that my exhaust is stock. we got into a mini-arguement since he said he is a car guy. i then insisted that show him SUBARU imprinted on both of my mufflers, after i proved to him i was stock he gave me a and left.

i love setting off car alarms in stock form

^^People in drive through windows are always the best for great stories in this thread.

Anyone else ever find people just completely gathering in the window to look out it and see your car? Like one minute your sitting there waiting for your food then you look up to get your food from the person leaning half out the window holding your bag and half the McDonalds staff is crowded around the window waiting for you to drive away to hear your car.
