![]() First off, Ian - thank you for your answers in the PM.
Second, any California folks running the stage 1 91 map? I would like your feedback. When I ran a cobb stage 1 back in 2015 on my then 2015 WRX, my DAM dropped all the time and never climbed. I now have a 2018 WRX and was wondering if any Cali folk could let me know their experiences with the MAPerformance stage 1. Every thing I have read states its the best, but most of those folks are using actual fuel, 93. Thank you.

![]() Cali 2017 wrx here running MAP's stage1 tune, runs better than the Cobb map. It runs pretty well, but very sensitive to bogging, while dam came back pretty quick sometimes, it eventually stuck to .875 and wouldnt change even after a few weeks and a few gas tanks. I recently got ver7 , was running v5 so I'ma see how this one goes, drove home today on it and got some knock cause of heavy traffic but dam stayed at 1 so hopefully this will run better.

![]() I'm running a CB exhaust, and I'm a little reluctant to getting the MAP tune, because I've heard of knock events with the v7. Anyone else have similar issues?

i ran the zerostage tune for awhile, which is the stock tune but having the ability of the AP to monitor it, to get a bead on how the engine operates stock. you get the same amount of knock and the dam is constantly going up and down, usually if i drive long enough it will get to 1DAM but with the stock tune, it tries alot more often to get back to 1DAM compared to OTS tunes that start off at 1DAM. stock tune starts at .6 and builds/test higher DAM settings till it reaches 1 |

![]() Hey guys, I'm a little late to the party but just got this tune a week ago and am loving it so far! Came from stock, and the change is night and day. Power delivery is so smooth, no more power drop around 4K rpm, and there's a bit more power too but honestly I just wanted the rev hang reduction, throttle mapping, and smoothing of powerband with better boost control. So I'm happy.
I pushed the tune as hard as I could without the AC on and couldn't break it. Then, even with the AC on, it did fine under moderate acceleration and regular stop and go driving. Then on highway cruising (constant at 80 in 6th gear) with AC on I got a random feedback knock of 2.81. No fine learn or DAM changes. From what I'm hearing this is fine and normal, just thought I'd share. It's been a great map so far and I'm hoping to soon put my AP in the glove box and just enjoy it ![]() edit - forgot the details: 17 WRX, 93 octane tune, tuned at 32,000 miles |

![]() I'v been running this tune on a pretty much stock 18 wrx using 92oct for a few months with no issues! I mentioned the tune to a local tuner shop and was chastised for running something that was "tuned for the east coast with different climates" and had was told that I no idea what I was doing

![]() Charge pipe, yes. Those do not require tuning. The EBCS does however.
