![]() Hi all,
So I've been looking at Remote Start/Push Start/RFID entry for my 08 STi, just because I think it is freaking cool. Ive driven/gotten into Cadillacs and Audis with it and I have to say it is very convenient. That being said, Ive done my research and I'm probably gonna get the EasyGo setup and the JDM STi button. Seeing newer generation vehicles with said RFID entry, they all have two sensors on the door handles: one on the outside (the square) to lock it when leaving, and the other on the inside of the handle to sense your hand when you pull the handle, it automatically unlocks the door. So heres my question (and I've tried to search for similar concepts not necessarily specific to Subaru, but to no avail): Has anyone ever done a setup with the dual sensor door handle on all 4 doors? And instead of using a "button" using an actual sensor? This video has what I'm talking about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCyj...S-jv7PCIDXkXag If you go to 1:13-1:38 you can see exactly what it is if you don't know. That right there is literally exactly what I'm talking about. All 4 doors, slightly indented button on the outside, and sensor on the inside. Complete with the beep and all. I have an email into EasyGo to see what they say, but I was just wondering if anyone had any experience or ideas about it. I was partially thinking I could somehow adapt the handle and sensor from a car with similarly shaped handles that has the sensors already inside, and somehow program EasyGo's system to accept the handle/button. That sounds like a ton of thought, work, and deep pockets, but again, seeing whats out there because the want factor is extremely high, and I very much like the luxury look/feel. P.S. I know our cars are not "luxury" cars, but I think its damn cool, so leave the hate out please ![]()

![]() I have this on my 15 WRX. Love it. Maybe the door handles are similar? If you could source the handles, perhaps you could make it work.

![]() I think the advance keys system is much better imo, the easygo system requires relays to make it work correctly, it doesn't have those buttons on the door handle it just locks an unlocks when you walk away or walk towards
