Epic Engineering Springs
I had Worldone install a set of Epic Engineering's lowering springs on my 07 wagon, with OEM struts, and so far, I am really happy with them.
The handling has been improved a lot. The ride is flatter on corners, and firmer when accelerating and braking. I have no problems going over the speed bumps at work, and the ride is very comfortable, which is very important factor since it's the wife's daily driver. The advertised drop is 1" on the front with slightly less in the rear. On my wagon it is more like 1.25" front and about .75" in the rear. This has resulted in the perfect drop for me. The gap is even and absolutely no saggy but. (And I can carry fatties in the back with no scrubbage.) Update.
So we've had the springs on the wagon for over a month now, and no issues.
The ride height has stayed the same, no saggy butt, no clunking/ noise issues, and handling is great. The wife is really happy with them and continues to throw the wagon into corners like a nutter. Off the back of these springs, I look forward to the release of their sway bars, and I will be purchasing one at the first oportunity to see how this compliments their springs. (I only hope the finish is better than that of the Perrin one I had.) |

Looks great man! I remember when you asked me about the springs on my wagon a couple months ago, looks like you found a good set!
What are the spring rates on these, by the way? |

I believe the spring rates are very similar to the Prodrives, but the drop is a bit more. They feel a lot better than the Eibachs I had on my sedan.

epics
okay i recently installed the epic springs on an 06 wrx and after having the cobb springs and utah's rough pot holes. the cobb springs just weren't for me. DON'T get me wrong i love cobbs products but the springs were slightly to harsh and loud. having said that. now that i have the epics on all that has changed. no more noise no more harsh jarring! these springs rock! i have these installed on stock struts and could'nt be happier. the ride is great the stance is perfect i love em. these are on my top 5 must haves. thanks to dan and the guys at epic engineering.
p.s any other parts going to be released soon! Brennan- |

MrMorninwood - Great review and great pictures. I am glad you are happy! 06-wrx-tr - Thank you for your kind words. That is a great review. Customers with your needs are exactly what my springs cater to. I would love to see some pictures of your vehicle. As far as what's next: This kit was designed with a 22mm adjustable rear bar. The Bars are now out of production but, we are still waiting on the boxes and bushings... They will be available to ship shortly. Kind Regards Dan Antonielli |

06-wrx-tr - Awesome! Looking forward to seeing them. Bishop - Soon... I will see you at the install day later this month. Here are pictures of the springs on a sedan. He also sent me a nice review of the springs. I asked for his permission to post it and am awaiting his response. Kind Regards Dan Antonielli |

With all the snow, and ice crap we've had, I thought I'd bump this thread with an update.
I have OEM tires, a VF22 and all supporting mods, (except tires.) and I am really impressed. I live up in the highlands and the car feels really sure footed. A little harsh on some of the deep assed icy potholes, but I feel really confident when driving. More importantly, the wife feels confident driving in this crap. It has been cruising along happily in 6-12" of snow, slush and hard icy stuff. (lower front bumper acts as a great plough!) Really impressed not just with these springs, but the awd drive we have in these cars as well. The oem tires, have not let me down yet. When the hell are the sway bars coming out???? |

I've been thinking about lowering my car for sometime now......just put brand new bridgestone all seasont tires with the JDM STi spec C look alike wheels, car is looking awsome except the monster truck part.......i cant even bare to look at it........the guy i deal with here at the subaru dealer for tuning and everything else recommended either the STi pinks or the Epic. After much research, I've decided to go with the Epic. FIrst of all, from what I hear the pinks will barely drop the car plus its lot more stiffer so thats out. Epic seems to be just the perfect solution to what im looking for. My car is strictly for daily driving only so cant have something that will be breaking my rear end on every bump esp with teh wifey sitting next to me......After checking out all the pics, epic springs drops it just perfect......going to order mine with in the next wk or so. GREAT JOB BY DAN and the guys!!!!!!!! KEEP IT UP
