I just installed my Epic springs today on my 05 Wrx (sedan) and all I can say is wow (or ). The install was simple (my first time installing springs/anything suspension wise). Well, aside from a slight mechanical problem (annoying spring compressor's that my father failed to mention was ~30 years old).
When I dropped the car down I was amazed on how low it actually was, but it was perfect. I'm able to fit two fingers in both the front and rear so it's nice and even. Once the car settles I'll be getting the alignment. The handling: Simply amazing! The car's comfort hasn't changed in the least, yet it drives amazingly! It goes around corners like butter and can be pushed hard without any question. Dan; Amazing job on these springs. I'll be sure to tell locals about how great they are! Edit: I'll get pics up once the springs settle. |

Installed mine yesterday on a 92x. I won't repeat what everyone else has said- just confirm that these springs are the balls. Perfect stance, great ride. A+++

It's been a week on these springs. Still loving em. They totally pass the gf/wife test. I didn't tell my fiancée I changed springs, and when we drove to cape cod for the 4th she thought the car was"less bouncy & smoother". So I told her I changed to the epics. Then came explaining why I "needed" to spend more cash on the car. Lol. |

Can anyone comment on how much positive caster they are able to get with these springs? I've got the prodrives on my bugeye and i think they drop the car too much because my caster when from the normal +3 to about +2.

Hey,
I've read some of you guys have the Epic Springs set up with koni inserts and KYB GR2s. Has anyone installed these springs with Tokico D-Spec struts? I would really appreciate any comments if anyone has this set up! Thanks. |

And here is where I come in... I have d-specs/Epics F***ing AWESOME I set them four turns from full hard in front, 3.5 in the rear. This produces a ride that is stiff, but not jarring or overly harsh. I prefer a stiffer suspension though. When I initially installed the springs, I set the struts to 5.5 turns from full hard all around. It rode nice and smooth. Can't really make a comparison between this setup and the stock struts though, as I never had it. Handling is greatly improved over cobb springs on the d-specs and skunk2 springs on the stock struts though. |

Hey guys, I've got an 06 wrx (non wagon) and I was wondering if these are the same epics on fredbeansparts.com @ http://www.fredbeansparts.com/servle...Springs/Detail. It's such a big price difference between most other places that I just want to make sure Im getting the legit ones posted by the other posters because I really like their drop/experience. Thanks
