Great! If you could be so kind as to post your review in the thread for the STI springs (not this one), that would be greatly appreciated As far as stickers go, please PM us your name and address and we'll make sure you get stickers, as they should've been included in the box

the springs today and am extremely pleased. The ride is firmer and more planted, and the car doesn't tend to dive as much under hard braking. Perfect drop, great quality product. I'll add more to my review after I autocross with the springs.

I'll wait until I have good pictures with my summer wheels on before I add pictures.

You definitely should install those two rear bump stops. The springs are designed to use those, so it's very important that you use them. You won't hurt anything by not, but your car will not handle or ride as we've designed. And again, please post your thoughts on the STI-specific spring thread here

Cut the front bumpstops. If you us a spring that drops your car, then the travel distance of the spring is reduced but its spring rate is increased. When your suspension is working and your spring compresses, since it is smaller in length than your oem spring, it will hit your oem bumpstop instead of coming to the end of its compression stroke unless the spring rates are extremely aggressive. Since Epic springs do not have ridiculous spring rates, as Armin said, if you don't use the rears or cut the fronts, the springs won't be used as designed.

Got it!..so use the Bumpstops provided by Armin in the rear..and cut the OEM ones to match the length of the Epic Bumpstops for the front?..oh man!..gotta do these again, but then Im getting to be a pro at suspension install now!..LOL

OOPS, I'm sorry, I meant to say these are supposed to replace the FRONT bump stops, not the rears. You'll notice rather quickly that these bump stops won't even fit on the rear struts. You should also still use your OEM rear bump stops.

I'm sorry, but this is incorrect. Do NOT cut the rear bump stops. The rear STI springs are designed for use with the OEM bump stops and you absolutely should NOT cut them. We have never told anyone to cut any of the OEM bump stops on with any of our products. Even on the 04-07 WRX springs that don't include replacement bump stops, you should retain your factory OEM bump stops for use with our springs.

Hi, I have a 1996 impreza wagon and will be getting some 05 wrx wagon struts with wrx top hats. If I were to get these Epic Springs, I would have to use 04 or 05 wrx rear top hats correct? Also, how much would a set of 4 Epic Springs cost me? Please pm me and let me know, thank you

Josh,

You are correct that you'd need 04-07 WRX rear top hats (and preferably struts) in order for our springs to mount properly. MSRP on the springs is $329, but many of our dealers sell them for less. You can find our current dealer list here:

http://www.epicsuspension.com/dealers/

Hope this helps!

Question for Dan or anyone else who can answer... I have a 2007 2.5i wagon. Do you know if the 2.5i struts are different from the WRX struts? Are the Epic springs designed to work on the regular Impreza as well?

thanks
Nelson

I'm sold, mine are on order I can't wait I hate the rally gap.

I was going to get coilovers but truth is I like spirited driving (canyon) and probably won't race much. So no need for coils these look like they will fit the build.

I ordered mine through Oakos Automotive, great people and they have an awesome combo deal on the springs and swaybar.

I just installed the epic springs on my 2006 WRX this weekend. I am completely satisfied with them. The amount of drop is perfect, and they really make the car more fun to drive. It feels like it hugs the road better, and doesn't feel floaty and disconnected as before. I can't imagine going back to the stock suspension after having these on. They are not harsh at all, just make the car feel taught and sporty. Now I am tempted to get the rear sway bar....

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

Earlier in this thread some one said something about using some KYB GR2 struts with the Epic Springs? Does anyone actually have the Epic springs installed with the KYB GR2's? Right now I have KYB GR2's on my 1996 impreza wagon and like the ride, but the stock springs just don't help too much especially in the corners. I am going to be getting some 05 wrx wagon struts with really low miles and know for sure that the Epic Springs would work great with the 05 wrx wagon struts But can someone tell me if the epic springs work with the KYB GR2 struts?

Id like to add myself to the list a satisfied customers.
I purchased my Epic Springs and rear swaybar from World One (its a Smokin' deal).
I had new KYB GR2s, GroupN mounts, KB Endlinks, Epic Springs and Epic Swaybar installed yesterday by the super guys at Boxer4Racing in NC.

I freakin love the way the car rides and handles. The differance is subtle untill you push it.. then you notice how well the car is balanced.
Its flat around corners, braking has less dive.. Its kick ass.
It passed the girlfreind test with flying colors too. She told me that it rides better with the new suspension than it did stock!

Here is a crappy pic of my dirty car from my iPhone. Its probably going to settle a bit more but Im plenty satisfied now.
