Yipper, it's all true, the classrom part of the school is Thursday starting at 6:30pm at UAA Rasmuson Hall, Room 117. This is open to people who have registered and paid (paid either online or by making arrangements with Cheryl) and is also open to SCCA members.

And in case you don't know your way around UAA here's a map.

Bad strut. Somehow the adjustment valve broke a seal or something, fluid has been coming out of the top of the shock for a couple days now, thought it was PS fluid leaking, but traced it and yup, strut.

Stasis is sending a replacement strut under warranty, however doubtful it'll get here by the weekend, let alone installed. Unless Jerry/Jake would like to work late into the Friday night hours (provided it arrives tomorrow) Otherwise ya... oingo boingo till new shock arrives.

WRONG!!!! Wrong! wrong...

When it is NOT your car, you don't "know" the little noises or nuances of the car and you just go! Or, in the case of Kimpton's wife...you just turn the radio up a little louder so you "don't" hear the noises, LOL! It is not uncommon for a loaner-driver to "beat the boss."

Now, after AKLGT does the school, all bets are off; Ben doesn't stand a chance!

But it was clearly mentioned at the school last night that turning up the radio and singing along while rallying around the cones would result in you just driving really slow.

And actually yes when I'm driving someone else's car, I treat it better then my own. But thats just me and I'm not normal. (heck if I don't come out and say it, someone will ) Now if you give me a car to drive and it breaks down due to an existing issue before I got in... haha then yeah, I'm not paying for that.

Ya... sure, so Hope, I just ignore that thumping noise right? :P

So question... Apparently being slammed this week with side work, I miss skimmed the part that thursday was actually school work, not just a meet and greet. Did the instructors go over what is planned Sat? more teaching or just seat time applying the classroom stuff?

A lot of the discussion was light on certain subjects with the understanding we would be shown what they ment on saturday. They had no idea what they would have us do yet on saturday because they had yet to visit the track and see what room they would have to work with. It was a meet and greet as well as a going over of racing terms, driving basics, how the car reachs, staging, clothing and prep.

Only thumping noise in Hope's car might be from the sub in the back, or the cobb sway bar making contact with the suspension...
