Actually, i'm guessing it's closer than you think. There's both a WRX and a WRX STi. Granted, yes, they are different cars, but I would also think most people want the STi, but the WRX is first on the list.

SRT-4 is only minimally cheaper than a WRX and not as fast nor as kickass as the WRX, AWD, solid build, crisp shifts, SRT-4 is definitely not the best bang for the buck and... the STi... supercars, meet your kryptonite ;-)

your kidding right, the the 04 srt-4's are dynoing stock at 230 whp, and they cost about 4k less than a wrx which dynos at about 190 whp. there is a joke about srt-4 being teh f4stR and stock for stock....its true. i love wrx's they kick ass but bang for your buck deffinetely goes to the srt-4.

I've always want to get a new MR2 its not cheap (a little more than 20k) tho.

nonetheless, It sure as hell are fun to drive.
