Power Windows Motor Should Be Recalled?

I think that Subarus have poor power windows motors. I think that they should recall them or replace them for free under warranty. I had mines broken and they told me to pay $179.00 parts and $100.00 labor to fix it. I think that this is something that happened by its self and should be under factory warranty. Anyone else agrees...!!!!!!!!!!!! or have this problem!!!!!

The dealer diagnosed that my window motor had failed. Once they opened the door up they realized that the power cable had fallen off the motor. If you are comfortable with removing the panel you could do a simple visual.

As to who should pay. Check the terms of your warranty. This is the agreement between you and subaru on when they should fix your vehicle gratis. If it is not covered under the warranty you can go to an indepent garage.
