Going from VS 1 to VS 2, how to tune
Hi all ,
my 03 wrx is going through some changes this weekend. I have installed in the car now: stealthback w/cat prodrive muffler gruupe-s uppipe samco IC hoses vishnu stage 1 I have sitting on the floor of my room: (in order from intake to exhaust) vf34 with deadbolt "monster" P & P STi TMIC w/scoop/splitter/seal STi injectors gruppe-s headers w/thermo-tec header wrap i'm going to wrap my uppipe also. perrin crank pulley catless section for the stealthback. walbro fuel pump. I know these are some MAJOR changes to my system. I DO have delta dash and I have some small idea about tuning. I am going to have my car tuned on the 5th by Shiv in CT but I don't want to blow up my engine from now till then. BUT I want to have enough time from the hardware installs until he comes just incase I have leaks, problems ,etc. So far all I can figure is to bring the boost down low <10psi and try to stay out of it. So any ideas? I have some logs of my current setup if people want to see them?.

I have a similar situation. Vshnu stage 1 and upgrading to a VF34. I plan to add more fuel, how much I don't know yet, and because I have water injection I will increase that volume as well. I will probably start off with less boost as well but I'm thinking more like 14- 15 PSI. Since I already had the reflash with the STI injectors, Walbro and FP upgraded TD04 I will be a lot closer than your set up. When I installed my injectors and pump I mailed my ECU to Vishnu for a base map and then made an appointment for the dyno tune that way I knew I could safely drive the car.
