Ah that's no good man, sorry to hear I'm about to run out and get coolant and what not then come back and install it. Hopefully it won't take too long and everything will go smoothly.

Radiator's installed! It works great so far. I didn't end up trimming any of the hoses and they all seem to fit..although, I think over winter break I'll go back and trim the upper radiator hose a bit. Or just buy new radiator hoses from Samco.

Same here i put mine in last night, the hoses are close but not trimmed yet
I agree quality looks real good and its over a half inch thicker then the stock and i like that you can get this one with or without the radiator cap to ease install on the early wrxs that didn't have the cap. i was gonna post a few pics but i guess i don't know how I say this is 100% better then the stock unit. More cooling, stronger all aluminium structure, and looks better too |

Toldja!
By the way guys, you really should trim at least the upper hose, it's a little too close to the fan for comfort. Keep in mind that not only did the hose get connected farther back and thus the bend is still close to the fan, but you also moved the FAN closer to the HOSE. With my stock radiator and hose, I cut the radiator hose. Now, I was at very high speed, well over 140 (dry lake bed- legal), but it still happened. So I DEFINITELY trimmed the ends with the new radiator. |

I'll be sure to do that probably over winter break. I honestly had just forgotten about trimming them, and only after had I already added the coolant, etc., did I remember to trim them... lol

I thought about it but i don't think its a real issue. I have some really solid motor mounts as well so there is no flex there. Ill get new hoses and clamps at some point and then i will trim
For those wondering this radiator is a really good buy for sure!! |

I have a koyo that I am in love with, it was expensive but fit and finish is great. Install only took a few hours.

HOLY CRAP it was PIA. It took me almost 2 weeks to get the whole system "burped." Finally I met this guy who is a Scooby mechanic and he helped me get it all squared away. I also had to replace the draincock O-ring 3 times. But everything is good now (knock on wood). How did yours turn out?

Mine went great, ran the car for about an hour after and kept filling it till it was good. I did't even mess with the "peacock" thing.... whats up with that?
I have a big funnel thing from "snap on" that goes on just like a radiator cap and aloows you to fill it without letting more air in.... pretty slick |

Yea I ended up buying that same funnel kit. It's yellow, right? Once I was told to get that (via Scooby mechanic hero) everything seemed to work out. It was just absolutely frustrating. I think I ended up burping the system a total of 11 times until we finally won lol.
