Nice!

I installed my axleback this evening. Sounds pretty good.

I was wondering why your stainless had a vacuum fitting on it.

I know, right?

They stop you exactly as fast on the street!

Who'da thunk it?

It is. Might as well drive it a few times a month since the weather is turning.

Just pulled the trigger on a set of 17x8 +45 Rota Titans in Hyper Black. I haven't seen them on a 2015 yet so fingers crossed. I'm going to throw my OEM tires on them and make them my summer setup. For now anyway....

Are you implying that the brakes perform the exact same unless used on track?

They definitely stop you faster. There is no comparison. Anyone who thinks a two piston stops you as fast as a four or or six is just ignant!

Since last time I posted in this thread... painted OEM spat + sideskirts and installed in place of INGs setup, then put on Rota Boosts in exchange for old Tarmac 2s

I'm implying exactly that... both the stock calipers and brembos are fully capable of stopping you at the limits of your tires... The brembos will fare better for repeated stops and stops from high speeds, but for street driving and most single stop conditions, they are no better than the stock calipers.

No, they just understand physics better than you.

If you wanna stop faster, change your tires, not your calipers.

You are serious? Lol it's proven that they stop you faster. Tire change helps too, obviously, because softer rubber grips better but with the same setup and different brakes? There's no doubt that a better caliper and rotor will stop you faster.

We'll just agree to disagree. Thanks. I had. A '99 z28 and upgraded just the front brake setup with Stoptech six piston calipers. I went from 120 feet to just 112 feet at 60 mph with no other changes. Don't tell me it doesn't make a difference. There's a reason they don't use two piston calipers in racing.

Washed my car. Finally!

Also in the quest to perfect wheel specs with my flares I added 5mm spacers to see if it'd fit and it did. I still have room outward to go...didn't expect to have so much room. It sits at 18x11 +15 now.

If your brakes have enough force to lock up your wheels (or engage ABS) on a dry road, then bigger pads, rotors, or more pistons do not make a difference. The reason for increasing the rotor and pad size is to dissipate the heat from repeated, high speed usage. The reason for multiple pistons and opposed pistons instead of sliding calipers is to better distribute the clamping force. So, unless you had rotors and / or pads that were too small, bigger pads or more pistons will not decrease stopping distance from just one stop.

All I tried to say with my original post was that they were much better...I should have elaborated and said that the pedal feel is so much more responsive, tighter and even "grippy".

BTW, I did the NASA event at Summit Point last fall with the stock brakes and intend to go again with the new setup. I am sure I can give a much more informed opinion at that time.

Either way, I like how they feel on the street compared to stock and believe it is the best mod I've done so far.
