Crazy long read but good discussion. I'm still stuck between the black and a Dom 3.5. heads are somewhat built with gsc s1 and accompanying parts. Fuel is flex with mostly e85. Aps fmic.

Hey man I have a 2004 STI . Iag stage 2 tuff block iag stage 4 heads with cams and FP black htz is 580 HP to much for the block being open deck shift fast was telling me it shouldn’t be over 500 HP JR is tuning it on February 6th

Jr tuned this setup too i think so ask him. Imo 580 will be just fine on a stage 2 tuff

You can also ask I AG. I believe that block is recommended up to 675 base horsepower. Subtract 18.5% from that and that is the recommended limit in wheel horsepower form. It all really depends on how it was built and who built it, numbers donít mean anything if the workmanship is not there.
