Thumbs up Planet Subaru calls to apologize

I was very happy to hear from the salesman on my machine when I got home.

He went on to say basically he dropped the ball and would like to make amends. In the mean time they were looking for an RS to sell me for the same price.

The owners of the dealership were also upset at what had happen, saying "Dave is not only a customer here he's a friend to all of us." Subedave wipeing tears.

I told him I appreciated the call, I kinda was waiting for one.
In the middle of all this my friend who bought the Audi from them handed me the keys to his Eagle Talon for my winter car.

I told the salesman if you guys bring in something for me I will look at it, who knows. My plans are to save over the winter and maybe a WRX or an STI will be in the mix.

I also told him I will allow I-club members to go there again.

Glad to hear they are willing to admit when they made a mistake. Very good to hear actually. Everyone is human, and maybe now you'l get a better deal on a nicer car.

Wow, a WRX and a Mustang, you are living out a dream..

See, you can still come back!

Paultg,

No dought it spoke volumes for them to call me like that.

Having a WRX an a stang in the driveway WOW! I don't think you could wipe the smile off my face.

Do you have any time this weekend I have both days off (rare).
Grab lunch, hit an on ramp or two?

Cool! I was hoping something like this would happen (call ya back, look for car for ya) The good dealers always take care of the customer.

Dave, I think I can make some time for ya. Why don't ya call me Friday night or Saturday in the AM. I might go to work on Saturday morning, just ask Heather for the number if I am there.

We should just pick whatever day looks better for weather. Maybe I should come down to your area for some more 'fun' roads?

Talking Guess I will have to "re-badge"

Just kidding. The day you posted about your problems, it reminded me that I wanted to debadge the car anyway. The "Planet" logo, not the Subabru logo. So I did in your honor. It looks good now, sorry I waited so long.

BTW, it was way easy, no hair dryer or Goo-Gone required. Peel off slow, gently scrape residue with credit card after spraying area with WD-40. Wash car, wax.

Dave, I noticed your updated profile...

so where did you find that new "invisible" paint?

I've been looking to get some for my car, so I won't get pulled over again. Well, either I do that, or stop following m750 when he's going to eat

JIM,

The best part about the car is it comes with an invisible payment book as well!
