Default Wanna trade your Eibachs for H&Rs?

Any one wanna trade their Eibach springs for my H&Rs? H&Rs used on KYB AGX shocks for about 6500 miles. Perferably in LA/OC area but whatever works.

I don't have anything to trade, but I'm wondering why you want to trade? I'm thinking about getting a set of either of these springs. Are the H&R's not working out as you'd hoped?

Theres nothing wrong with the springs, ride great, handle great but theyre too low for me with the shocks im using. The rear is too low for my taste b/c the KYB AGXs are for the GC8 and the spring perch (i think thats what its called) sits 1/2 an inch lower in the rear struts than the stock WRX shocks which make my car 1/2 an inch lower in the rear in addition to H&R 1.5(?) drop. My rear muffler scrapes on some speed bumps and the 5zigen pre muffler can thing hits the ground on the freeway when the car is filled.

Hmmmm, don't eibachs lower the car more then H&Rs? Or did you get more agressive H&Rs then standard?

You might be better off switching out the AGXs....

I've got the standard H&Rs w/AGXs (currently set on 2 all around as that suits my driving style).

Damn it, now I'm going to try to measure the free space between the exhaust and the ground... but something doesn't sound right... it might just be because I have a different exhaust, but if memory serves my pipes are pretty much at the same level as the differential shield...

(not meaning to sound like a prick, just curious)

The bottom of the 1st can (the dark grey one) is what scrapes when i have people in the car. When i back out of my drive way without taking an angle the muffler itself scrapes. If i remember correctly, eibachs lower 1 inch in front and 1.4 in the rear. Also, people say eibachs are a better match for the KYBs, not only for subarus but for other cars also, they even sell them together as packages.

I got bored so....

Really? Didn't know that (the KGB's with the eibach), I'll have to file that away. Did a little looking and the H&R's lower you 1.4 in the rear as well (and 1.5 in the front). It might not be worth the cost for you to switch to those springs (esp if no one will switch)

Went ahead and measured my car, at the back part of the side skirts I have 5" clearance, at the dif. protector there is 5.5 inches of clearance, at the lowest part of the rear exhaust there is 4.5 inches of clearance, it looks like with your second can is the problem, (what does that do by the way?) you're at 3.5" or less of ground clearance from eyeballing it... would even .2 help you enough?

you do bring up a good point with the +0.2 inches. As for the 2nd can, i think thats the actual functional muffler becuase you can see straight through the can (polished one on the end)
