I work at a Nissan dealership and I've seen my fair share of idiot customers. One I can remember off the top was the customer complained that his clock(touchscreen navi) was off/incorrect. He had to set it to some mountain zone to get the time right. So he made us set the clock right.

You seriously that lazy to not read thro the owners manual? You would have figured out and learned how to do this w.o having to drive to the dealer.

Even with the inspections like Texas you can still get away with stuff like that.

That's true. It's good that Texas has one, but you probably wouldn't be surprised at what can get through.

The pads are completley gone and the caipler is just held on by the brake line, which hasnt snapped somehow....the bolts were completely severed off.......the caliper piston is fully pressed out.
The shoes you see are the E-brake shoes.....again no rotor left!

The caliper flopping around ground into the inside of the wheel.....so they decided to bring it in.....
Seen some bad ones but that tops all.

Well it is a Pontiac. Poor Old N Thinks Its A Cadillac.

That is pretty ridiculous. Was the tread that bad on the other tires? (Bald)

That looks more like a tire storage bag or something than an actual tire. Some people literally try to drive their cars into the ground.

We sold them 4 new tires and a new wheel, which arrived today.
The tire in the picture.....just feels wierd to the touch. Like feathers or something-very soft.

We had a 2003 Supercharged Xterra with 178K miles in the shop today for a no start issue.

Distributor wasnt rotating.

He pulled the timing cover off and found the tensioner was no longer providing tension. You could move the belt around on the sprockets by hand. I snapped a pic of the busted belt teeth.

Timing belt had never been done on the truck before ever!

It also had a leaking power steering pressure hose, leaking oil from the oil pan (was down 1 quart of oil) and no oil dipstick!
