Default manley h-tuff rods on a 2.1 stroker question

Anyone running manley h-tuff with a 2.1 stroker? I am not sure how much grinding I need to do on the block . I was using sti rods on my last build so no clearance issue . Let me know please . thanks

the rod cap when is on compression the clearance on the other side of the case , and from my previous stroker build the sti crank was hitting the case , i might need to upload some picture , its hard to explain. I did some research and i cant find anyone running with the h-tuff with 2.1 stroker ,ive seen only the regular h/beam , the h tuff is wider than the h beam.

that sounds like it would be a question for the manufacturer. as it is a wierd thing to deal with. I have a 2.1 stroker but I used Tomei rods and had no problems like that at all. Im running about 400 on 91 and 450 on E with a gtx 3067

I never had an issue with rods in a 2.1 stroker. Do you already have the Manley rods?

not yet still debating what to get, the h tuff is my first choice , but I haven't seen anyone using it on a 2.0 liter with 79 crank . Talked to Manley and told me I need to do some block clearance work with stroker set up.

Did you ask them specifically what needs to be clearanced and by how much?

That would have been my 2nd question to Manley
