Scott Rothstein, scumbag and ponzi schemer is in prison. His big time stuff is getting auctioned off next month. Anyone want any of this stuff?

Cars: 2008 Bugatti Veyron; 2009 Bentley Continental GTC; 2007 Rolls Royce Phantom; 2009 Ferrari 430 Spyder; 1967 Corvette convertible; 2007 Ford Expedition Limousine; 2008 Cadillac Escalade; 2008 Mercedes Benz SLR; 2009 Maserati GranTurismo; and 2010 Lamborghini LP-670SV.

Vessels/watercraft: 2007 87-foot Warren yacht; 2005 33-foot Riva Aquariva Super; 1999 55-foot SeaRay Sundancer; 2006 Nor-Tech Supercat; and several Yamaha personal watercraft.

Proceeds of the sale will be held by the government to benefit the victims of Rothstein's massive investment fraud.

The cars can be previewed by the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at Secure-All of Florida, 1240 N.W. 74th Street, Miami. Previews for the cars also will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 26 and 27 and from 9 a.m. to noon on June 2.

The yachts and personal watercraft can be previewed from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at National Liquidators, 1915 Southwest 21st Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale. Previews for the yachts also will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. May 27 and June 2.

Registration for the auction will begin at 9 a.m. on the day of the sale – which begins at 11 a.m. – at the Broward County Convention Center, Exhibit Hall D, 1950 Eisenhower Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. Bidders are required to have a cashier's check on deposit in order to register to bid.

What I don't get is, if you're going to run a scheme like this, and have access to that much money, how do you not have an endgame?

I mean, set up something in a country without an extradition treaty and get the **** out of dodge!

People will continue to **** the system as long as they believe they are able to **** the system. Someone smart would set a reasonable target amount and disappear once it is reached.
